Our Story

About us

trust earned over time — one customer, one service call, and one relationship at a time.

Lee County Plumbing & Well Service has proudly served Southwest Florida since 2010, working with homeowners across Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, Bonita Springs, Estero, Naples, Punta Gorda, Sanibel, Captiva, and the surrounding region. The company’s early foundation was built around plumbing service, local relationships, and values that still matter today: honesty, integrity, service, and accountability.

About us

A New Chapter in 2018

In 2018, Troy and Kathleen Lanz purchased Lee County Plumbing. That moment marked a new chapter for the company, but not a change in the values behind it. The goal remained the same: serve the community well, build a team customers could trust, and continue raising the standard for home service across Southwest Florida.

Troy’s background in plumbing, HVAC, service leadership, and business ownership helped shape the company’s next stage of growth. His career began in the trades in 1985, and his leadership has always been rooted in work ethic, customer service, faith, and the belief that a service business should help people, not pressure them.

About us

Growing Within the Standard

As the company expanded, the mission stayed grounded in the same principles that built the original customer relationships. Explain the problem clearly. Recommend the right solution. Treat the home with respect. Do the work thoroughly. Stand behind the customer relationship, not just the transaction.

That philosophy became even more important as the company’s capabilities grew. Southwest Florida homeowners were not just calling about one type of issue. They needed help with plumbing repairs, drains, repipes, water heaters, water treatment, well service, backflow, septic, gas lines, pool systems, HVAC, and more. The company grew because customers needed a team that could understand how these systems connect.

About us

Connected to The Community

Southwest Florida is not a one-size-fits-all service market. Homes here face hard water, mineral buildup, changing well-water conditions, storm-season wear, humidity, aging plumbing, outdoor living demands, pool-system stress, and seasonal occupancy patterns.

That local reality shaped the story of the company. LCP Home Services is not being built as a generic service brand. It is being built around what customers here actually ask for: clearer answers, better service coordination, stronger home-system support, and work that leaves the home feeling more stable afterward.

The company’s story is also tied to the community it serves. Lee County Plumbing & Well Service has been connected with organizations including the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, the Cape Coral Chamber of Commerce, and SWFL Inc., and has supported organizations such as Midwest Foodbank of Florida and New Beginnings in Cape Coral.

That community connection matters because a local service company should be more than a name on a truck. It should be part of the region it serves.
